Abandoned Europe

While traveling around Europe, we came across many abandoned hospitals, houses, schools and factories; it was an interesting insight into a side of capital cities that has been left behind. Although I didn't visit any, many of the Olympic venues have been forgotten and unused for many years in Greece and England. This project shows an insight into the Europe that we don't usually see, the one that has been abandoned due to progress. According to a study in 2015, their are over 600,000 abandoned houses in the UK alone, yet homelessness is still paramount within society. This trip took me through Italy, Portugal, Slovenia and Croatia.
