Dire Dawa - Ethiopia

During the summer of 2013 I spent three months volunteering with International Citizen Service in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia. My work mostly involved teaching but also helped with general community building activities, during my birthday I visited the homeless shelter. I developed a passion for international development, education and travel. The people I met were incredible and it was a life changing experience, I want to try and create more of an positive message through my photographs. I've continued working with ICS through Restless Development and will be soon going to work in Nepal with Raleigh International.
